Photography Project for Kids: Andy Warhol Prints

PinterestShare

This photography project for kids about Andy Warhol  teaches our children how one of the most renown artists of our time used photographic images from advertising, newspapers and magazines as the starting point for his artwork.

Children enjoy Warhol’s art because of its bright colors and cartoon like images. This is a fun and easy project to make with them.

Later on, Andy Warhol started using his own photographs for his silkscreen paintings.  He also took the pictures himself, to create colorful self-portraits. Most of his work was photography based.
