Art History for Kids should involve the artwork related to those  animal characters they love: The  human-like animals in cartoons and comics.

Where do they come from? Who first created them? This art class was really fun! The introduction to the class was this presentation where we talked about artists who have created animal characters.

The first comics and cartoons characters came from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, but before that, many artists used animals as the main characters of their artworks, poems, stories and fables. Beatrix Potter was a British writer, whose famous character “Peter Rabbit” has been a favorite reading companion of many generations.
