Art History for Children: Impressionism

A group of painters in Paris decided that they did not want to follow the rules. They wanted to be free and express themselves in a new way. In this presentation we will take a quick look at the impressionism.

This art movement changed  forever how the world was perceived. During renaissance and for many centuries more, artists tried very hard to represent the real world as it is. Impressionist artists painted the world they way  they saw it, or the way they felt it. Lets look at some of the most important painters of this period:
